May 25th 2010 4:33PM Before this article was released, the headlines read "'Special needs' boy gets bullied to get a tattoo". He was ADD!! Since when did ADD fall into the same category as Autism or Down Syndrome? People with ADD are not mentally handicapped or incapable of making just decisions. The majority of people have ADD tendencies but not everyone chooses to medicate themselves. As far as the people that promised to stop picking on him is a different argument. I think what they did was manipulative, conniving, and downright cruel. I have 0 tolerance for bully-like behavior. HOWEVER, the kid was perfectly capable to avoid being coerced into such degradation.
