Maybe, there would be less 'ignorant' followers if there was more equality on who can get an education in this country. Elite Liberals have blocked most 'ignorant' white people from getting a higher education, giving preferencial treatment to blacks, hispanics and other minority groups that blindly follow thier lead.

Jan 4th 2009 10:16AM Oh please. Newspapers aren't struggling. People like drinking coffee and reading the paper. Its easier to carry around work and on the bus than a laptop.

Newpapers are going to shoot themselves in the foot because they
are letting stockholders tell them how to run thier business. If the bean counters won't pay talent what they are worth, they won't get any talent and people will stop reading the paper.

Get the stock jocks out of there and let it be what it is. There is no gold mine to be had, its just paper.

Tradeshows are not a sappy, romanced thing of the past when men traveled over ice capped mountains and thru deserts from all directions to converge for a wheel and deal at the 'market'. It still happens today. It is absolutely necessary to meet people in person, shake hands, smile, swindle, deal, see and be seen. Anyone dropping out of tradeshows, is dropping out of business. Bad, bad idea.
