Eugene Rubin Helps Us Celebrate Jewfros This Christmas {Asylum}
Dec 22nd 2009 9:38PM This is awesome. I never had a Jewfro but a bunch of my friends did and I have some incriminating photos of them! The book looks really funny too - love the "bonus materials" on the site where he goes into all the weird stuff he worries about.
Barbara Boxer: Please Call Me 'Senator' {Politics Daily}
Jun 19th 2009 2:32AM Know what? She's my Senator and I've voted for her many times, and she's stood up for regular folks in some very dark years. So I'd be grateful if you didn't call her trash, filth, etc. People in the military don't automatically deserve more respect than anyone else, and Sen. Boxer is someone I deeply admire. Maybe she just had a bad day. Don't let being on the Internet let you forget to be human.
Hillary Does Shots: Nothing New {News Bloggers}
Apr 17th 2008 2:13PM After so many months of shallow political gossip, I'M the one who needs a drink. The inane questions posed on that ABC debate alone could send any sane person off on a bender.
Hot Seat: Obama Solve Rev. Wright Problem? {Politics Daily}
Mar 19th 2008 11:29AM Excuse me, but McCain has cozied up with the most intolerant and hateful forces of the religious right ... AFTER condemning them. Anyone who can compare his hypocrisy to Obama's forthrightness and still criticize Obama is not paying attention.
Obama to Offer Bill Clinton a Job? {Politics Daily}
Dec 1st 2007 1:12PM This story is a perfect example of what's wrong with political coverage nowadays. Instead of getting into the nitty-gritty of what the candidates would do if they got the job, we get pointless rumor-mongering. Obama answers a journalist's silly speculative question and then THAT turns into a story.
And if it's not that, then it's the "grudge match" angle, where political press hacks try to turn disagreements about policy and tactics into a playground slapfight. It's freakin' pathetic.
We've had something like a year of coverage on the Democratic race for the nomination. How much do you know about the candidates' actual positions on issues?
P.S. If all you're going to do is let out some rant about "libs destroying America" with your caps-lock key stuck down, I suggest you explore the wonderful world of psychiatric medicine. And spell-check.
Washington Post Makes Fun of 'Fred' Name {AOL Elections Blog}
Aug 15th 2007 3:12AM Gosh, I would've thought Thompson being a right-wing douchebag would be a more substantive issue than the phonetics of his name.
Hillary: I'd Make Bill Roaming Ambassador {AOL Elections Blog}
May 10th 2007 7:43PM Dude, I love Bill. Really I do. But hasn't he done enough "roaming"?
