Photog Dies After Taking Lady Gaga Pics {Popeater}
Nov 4th 2009 12:32PM My prayers goes out to the photographer A.J. Sokalner and his family. Maybe it was just coincidence with him dying right after taking photos of Lady Gaga. But, honestly just seeing Lady Gaga's photo right now just scared me and I don't scare easily. Something about it just seems so haunting and evil.
No offense to her fans or her. I like haunting and evil usually but this is just different somehow. I can't quite explain it. I almost felt like I was going to pass out for a second just looking at her photo. Weird.
Could $300 Jeans Finally Be Over? {Stylelist}
Sep 7th 2009 2:30PM I would not pay $300 for a pair of jeans. That is way too much. I have paid under $200 for 4 pairs of designer jeans, sadly. I wear size 24 which is the smallest size they make. It was very difficult to find jeans that were long enough since I am tall and thin and was good quality. I used to buy cheaper jeans but the quality over the years did not hold up. I refuse to buy them now. I have bought dark rinse and (faded with the whiskers which are not my favorite) Paige, Citizens and Seven jeans within the past 2 years and I wear them everyday. They retain their shape better and fit, they don't stretch out as quickly and when they do I just wash them. Now I don't need my millions of pairs of jeans that I bought for good prices. They don't even compare. I would rather buy a few good pairs of quality jeans then a whole bunch of low quality pairs wasting space in my closet.
But, I am glad that they came down on the price due to the economy and I hope they come even lower on the price. It is ridiculous how much they do and did cost. They need to sell them even cheaper like $100 or less.
Debbie Harry is Raising Eyebrows By Not Having Any {Stylelist}
Sep 7th 2009 2:17PM Without eyebrows, you look older. Not a good look. To intentionally get rid of your eyebrows does not look good on anyone. Its different if you lost your hair due to chemo, then you have no choice. But, why would someone want to look sickly intentionally?
Meet the New Ann Taylor {Stylelist}
Sep 7th 2009 1:26PM I have bought some clothes at Ann Taylor but mostly for interview and work purposes. I am a double zero. It is very difficult to find clothes that fit me at Ann Taylor that is not sold out online. I agree it is a frustrating process to have to return items through the mail to get your correct size if it is even available. The pants are too wide for my size in tall. My legs are longs so the pants are too short in regular sizes. I am tired of waiting for sales are looking for coupons to get discounts on clothes online and dealing with shipping charges. So, I have just stopped. Now I try to find the time to go to a store and if not I try not to buy anything especially due to the economy.
Searching for Cold Relief? {AOL Hot Searches}
Jun 20th 2009 12:04PM I don't really get colds anymore but I do get allergies every so often. I wash my hands often and try not to touch things after others or eat before I wash my hands and I have not got the flu in years. Drink orange juice to dry up your cold and take multi-vitamins and vitamin c to dry up the cold if you do have one, if your not allergic to it. Also, stress and rest has a lot to do with getting sick as well and getting better. Try to tell yourself you will not get sick and try to slow down sometimes, if you can. Or else your body will find a way to slow you down by being sick. You always hear this, but soup and warm tea really help and take whatever medicine of choice you like to use if you do.

US Airways Wouldn't Like Me When I'm Angry {Gadling}
Nov 25th 2008 9:54AM I'm one of those rare few that do not fly often, because of the whole system. I hate the security checkout and how you have to carry less or you can't carry on certain items aymore. The charge of overlimit bags or you have to pay extra to bring them. What a hassle. I always seem to get flagged. I have done nothing wrong. Its probably because of the way I look. So, they will be getting no money from me unless its an emergency like a funeral which seems the only time I tend to fly.
My mother flies often and there is always something. Lost baggage, rude airline employees, missed flights when she gets there. I went to pick her up and I was stuck waiting for hours in LAX after her arrival time and her suitcase was missing for days. I'm not suprised and I knew that the airlines were going to lose a ton of money after 9/11 because of this crap.
Chanel to Increase Prices 20% in November {Luxist}
Oct 23rd 2008 7:12PM Chanel can keep their overpriced bag because I was not planning on buying one, anyway. Instead I am going to buy a new Mac desktop and I'm sure it will cheaper than the purse and make me more money in the long run.
E3 2009 coming June 2-4; invite-only format gone but will booth babes return? {Big Download}
Oct 23rd 2008 12:04PM I hope I will be lucky enough to go to E3 again next year. I am glad that they realized that changing the old E3 was not a good idea and that they are bringing it back. I would highly recommend going. You get to see Nintendo, PlayStation and X-Box compete with each other by turning up the speakers as loud as they can to outdo each other. You could get to play video game demos that have not even been realeased yet. There are opportunities where you might even meet the game designers and the people who made the video game happen. There are shows, swag, contests and so much to do there that you won't even be able to do everything. I don't know how different it will be next year from 2005, but hopefully it won't change that much. The heat was the only thing I could not stand waiitng outside to get in.
E3 2009 coming June 2-4; invite-only format gone but will booth babes return? {Big Download}
Oct 23rd 2008 11:54AM I attended E3 in 2005 and it was well worth the long lines and crowds. Actually, I didn't have to wait in line, I got skipped to the front. But, I did feel sorry for the "booth babes." The guys did not treat them with respect and kept touching them. If any of you attend E3 next year and you see the booth babes, please treat them with respect. They are there all day and its a hard job. You may not think so but think about what it feels like wearing uncomfortable heels before E3 even starts early in the morning, not having time to eat all day, having guys grope you and having to talk to smelly people while holding a smile and a sexy pose.
