The real conclusionary story here should be about Ben getting down on his knees and thanking god that the local police screwed up the investigation because they WERE star struck. Also, the girl realized that it would eventually be her word against Ben's word and that, no matter what, 30-50% of the people out there would believe Ben. That, and the FedEx envelope filled with $500,000 in cash from the NFL helped keep things quiet. In the end, many people say Ben has changed for the better.

Jan 13th 2011 5:46PM First, don't pretend the girl (or "victim") is totally innocent. A completely sad circumstance but she didn't get to that motel room overnight. Second, how the hell does anybody know if he really "knew" this girls age or not. Third, had this been a run-of-the-mill prostitute, he would have gotten a summary violation. For those not in the know, that means he would have gotten something akin to a jay-walking ticket. In the end, underage prostitution in this manner will continue to exist til the end of times UNLESS we allow prostitution to be legalized (like it is in Nevada. They have no problems like this).

Didn't you know, each one of them doesn't think THEY'LL be selected. And even if they are, they have to go to counseling??? BFD. Schools should concentrate on TEACHING. Last time I checked, the concensus was they were doing a pretty crappy job at that....

Jan 13th 2011 3:10PM I actually watch a full episode of T&T last night (was fliping through the channels and something caught my eye). These parents are not evil nor are they necessarily stupid or a bunch of hicks. But what they are doing is clearly narcistic and damaging. Here, BABIES are dressed up (they actually have categories, like, from 12 to 24 months) and awarded prizes upon their looks and "talents." (The "talent" part of last night's episode was truly sad.) The sexualization of the girls, dressed in bathsuits and costumes and dancing around thrushing their hips and flashing their smiles, is the dream of every pedofile out there. What these parents are doing isn't illegal but that doesn't make it wrong, wrong, wrong.
